Would you like to increase your production? For Walloon prosumers<\/strong>, it’s possible to increase the size of your solar installation without losing<\/strong> your compensation scheme (if you have an installation dating from before 2024). A real boon if you still have room on your roof, on your annex or on the ground. A wide range of expansion options<\/strong> are available.   <\/p>\n

To avoid losing compensation, you can increase the power of your inverter by up to 1 kVA. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s take the example of a 3 kVa inverter<\/strong> managing 3000 Wp of panels. This installation can be upgraded to 4 kVa. Bearing in mind that a current 4 kVa<\/strong> inverter can handle up to 8000 Wp of panels… Theopportunity<\/strong> to increase the number of panels is enormous! It’s almost always possible to increase solar output considerably, while still respecting the “1 kVa” limit imposed by legislation. However, this is a case-by-case approach, and our technical sales representative<\/strong> will need to study your specific situation and requirements<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n

Changing the inverter is also an opportunity to choose a hybrid model<\/strong>, i.e. one that is battery-ready<\/strong>. Your installation will then be ready to evolve towards storage, if necessary in 2030, when the meter turns upside down for Wallonia.
